Spring is in the Air
With the return of the children from their Easter holidays last week, came sunshine, flowers and the swallows too. The first week of the final term of this school year began with a welcome burst of colour around the school grounds. The flowers are in bloom and the bicycle shelter is full, with many pupils choosing to cycle to school in the fine weather. The field is in use and the children are enjoying all the space available to them. Beautiful daisy chains and crowns were created and bunches of flowers gathered by the junior classes. Our new planters have arrived and we can’t wait to begin planting out our vegetables. Thanks to the the members of the Board of Mamangement who have kindly donated some seedlings from their own gardens to help us get started.
We have welcomed two new students to the school also this term, Antoni and Leon and hope they will be very happy at Kilnagross NS.
