Spring walking Scavenger Hunt
The Junior Room have been enjoying the Spring and taking part in regular scavenger hunts, searching for various flora and fauna while the weather has been agreeing with us!
Engineering Week 2023
Scór Competition March 14th 2023
Well done to all who participated in various categories in Scór in Ballinamore on Tuesday 14th March. The school was very well represented and we would like to thank all the children and parents who came to the competition.
One of our ballad groups were successful in bringing home medals on the night. Well done to all!
Scholastic Book Fair 15th March 2023
Peace Proms 26th February 2023
Pupils recently participated in the Peace Proms Concert in Belfast. This involved singing along with the Cross Border Orchestra and over 70 other primary schools north and south of the border. Although it was an early start, a great day out was enjoyed by the children and this was topped off with some food on the way home! Thank you to the parents who travelled on the day and to the children for representing the school so well.
Pancake Tuesday
The smell of pancakes and various toppings filled the school on Tuesday 21st February, as we all enjoyed pancakes served by children from the senior room. Donations were made to the Unicef/Turkey/Syria fund and a total of €285 was raised. Thank you to all.
Snow Day!
We all enjoyed a dusting of snow at the end of January. Between making designs in the snow and writing names in the snow, the children were entertained while getting fresh air!
