In our final week of the 2024-2025 school year, we bid a fond farewell to our 6th class pupils, Daniel, Fiona, Michael and Tadhg. Parents and family members were treated to a slideshow from the children’s primary school days, while the pupils themselves were treated to pizzas from Supermacs.

The graduation ceremony then began in the hall, surrounded by family, staff and fellow pupils from Junior Infants to 5th class. We enjoyed listening to a witty and sentimental poem that the 6th class pupils penned themselves and witnessed the roll call being completed for their final time in primary school. Children from Junior Infants to 5th class gave a lovely performance of Bruno Mars “Count on Me”, much to the delight of the audience.

After the graduation hats were tossed into the air to celebrate the end of primary school, the children were able to return to their classroom for refreshments with their families and they marked this milestone with the cutting of the cake. They then returned to the hall to celebrate with fellow pupils with a disco and treats.

Many thanks to all who were able to attend on the day.

We hope your secondary school days will be as enjoyable as your primary school ones. Best wishes Daniel, Fiona, Michael and Tadhg from all at Kilnagross NS.
