We were delighted to be able to welcome the Carrick Tidy Towns Committee to the school in March. They brought their 2 winning trophies with them and explained to the children how all their hard work and many volunteers culminated in winning not only the tidiest town in all of Ireland, but also the tidiest small town in Ireland. Thank you to the wonderful volunteers and committee for taking the time out of their day to visit us.
Heritage in Schools Visit
Thank you to Fionnuala Maxwell who visited the school through the Heritage in Schools Scheme. The children were treated to singing and dancing and learned about folklore, culture and local heritage.
